Catherine Durkin was born on the 6th of December in 1992, making her 26 years old. She grew up in Los Angeles, California and attended Notre Dame High School. After high school, she studied at USCufffds Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

Durkin started her career working as an intern for Vogue magazine. She then went on to work as a writer for Glamour magazine and Cosmopolitan magazine. Catherine Durkin was born in 1983 and grew up in Sydney, Australia. She is the daughter of Tony Durkin, a well-known Australian television presenter and producer, and Eloise Sohier, an artist. She has two sisters, Natasha and Stephanie.
Durkin studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney and graduated in 2005.
